Reading and reports

No account is required. Articles, images and PDFs are downloaded from TechAnalysisNews over HTTPS. These connections transmit your IP address and content request to the server, as with other internet connections. Article search sends the search term to the server. Native reading does not load advertising, website scripts or cookies.

On your device

Articles, downloaded PDFs, language and reading preferences are stored locally. Saved articles can appear in device search. Listening uses the device speech synthesiser. We do not request microphone access. You can remove articles from Saved. Deleting the app removes its local data.

Tool calculations run on your device. Saved scenario names and inputs are stored locally and are not sent by TANews to our servers or OneSignal; you can delete them from My scenarios.

Notifications and OneSignal

We use OneSignal to deliver notifications and measure their operation. Its SDK starts when the app opens and collects app/subscription identifiers, permission status and push token where available, device and version information, language/timezone/country, session activity and notification interactions. OneSignal may process your IP address under its policy. Subject choices in Settings are sent as notification preferences; they do not represent political beliefs. The app does not send your name, email or phone number and does not request GPS location. TANews does not use this data for advertising tracking across apps or websites.

Choices and retention

Receiving notifications requires iOS permission. You can turn them off in device Settings or in Saved > Settings within the app. Turning off notifications does not delete the OneSignal profile or by itself stop session collection. Service data may remain until the profile or the app’s account with the service is deleted. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of data.

Η πολιτική αφορά την εφαρμογή TANews για iPhone και iPad. Η πλήρης ελληνική ενημέρωση διατίθεται και χωρίς σύνδεση στην εφαρμογή, από Αποθηκευμένα → Ρυθμίσεις → Πολιτική απορρήτου. Δεν απαιτείται λογαριασμός. Άρθρα και ληφθέντα PDF αποθηκεύονται τοπικά. Οι υπολογισμοί των εργαλείων εκτελούνται στη συσκευή σου. Τα ονόματα και οι τιμές των αποθηκευμένων σεναρίων αποθηκεύονται τοπικά και δεν αποστέλλονται από το TANews στους διακομιστές μας ή στη OneSignal· μπορείς να τα διαγράψεις από την ενότητα «Τα σενάριά μου». Η OneSignal επεξεργάζεται αναγνωριστικά, στοιχεία συσκευής, συνεδρίες, αλληλεπιδράσεις και προτιμήσεις θεμάτων για ειδοποιήσεις και στατιστικά λειτουργίας.
